Visual Art Talent: Homework:August 15-Sept.30 , 2016 $15.00 annual art fee/ AS OF SEPT. 19, FEES & FORMS ARE OVER DUE IF NOT ALREADY PAID. THANK YOU TO THE PARENTS WHO SENT THESE TO SCHOOL. IF THESE WERE NOT RECEIVED, YOU WILL BE CALLED OR A LETTER WILL BE SENT FOR YOU TO RETURN. Supplies for the major project can not be ordered until these fees are paid to the school. The order is dependent upon those fees in the Adams school account before it can be placed. These supplies are needed to complete each child’s project for the Annual Audubon Zoo exhibit this November. If the order deadline is missed, the student will need to purchase and bring in an alternative set of supplies to participate. This project is the major project of the year. If you forgot, please send a check for $15.00 made out to Adams Middle school or cash, in a sealed envelope and given only to the Art Talent teacher to record and return a receipt. Thank you for your assistance. The students are looking forward to learning the batik process for creating their painting. It requires several specialty products that must be ordered. All projects will be the property of each student and will eventually be available to proudly adorn your wall at home.
ART FEE: The art supplies, equipment and project materials will all be covered by the annual art talent fee of $15.00 this year. This program does not receive ANY funding for supplies or equipment and is required to operate by student fees for the activities and projects.
All projects will be the property of the student and returned at the end of the year. Every student will have their work on display during the school year with the first exhibit being at the Audubon Zoo in November. Some of our projects will include canvas and acrylic paints, which are costly, so we need fees by September 28, to place that order for project materials. If this is a problem please call 887-5240 t0 speak with Mrs. Campbell.
FORMS SIGNED BY PARENT: Students will be given forms that need to have a parental signature on them and need to be promptly returned to the art teacher. These are turned in to the front office once I receive them. One form explains the program and classroom procedures and the other gives parental permission for the work of your child to be placed on public display(Audubon Zoo).
